Since September 2015, IsraAID has sent over 60 medical and psycho-social professionals to Lesvos Island to support the emergency medical and psychological needs of the refugees that are arriving via dangerous routes. IsraAID’s primarily Arabic-speaking mobile relief teams are tasked with providing medical treatment and grief counseling for those that carry the scars of more than 5 years of war. IsraAID also provided humanitarian relief to victims of the tsunami in Japan, the earthquake in Haiti and the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.
Yotam Polizer joined IsraAID following the 2011 Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan, where he served as Japan Country Director for 3 years. Following 2 years as Asia Regional Director, Yotam is now the Co-Chief Executive Officer, overseeing all of IsraAID’s fundraising and strategic partnerships around the world.
Join us for a discussion and networking reception on Thursday, June 8th from 6-7:30pm at the offices of Mintz Levin.
