Global Education Programs

In our Global Education programs, WorldBoston welcomes our members, the general public, young professionals, scholars, and high school students to engage with expert speakers and network with like-minded global citizens. Through programs of the World Affairs Councils of America, of which WorldBoston is a member, as well as other initiatives, WorldBoston offers many ways to learn about emerging trends in global affairs and important geopolitical developments.

Our regular speaker series include Chat & Chowder at the friendly downtown offices of McDermott Will & Emery and Great Decisions at the Boston Public Library. In response to timely opportunities, we frequently present additional distinguished speakers and special events, as well.

We also provide programs for scholars and youth, such as Academic WorldQuest, an international affairs knowledge competition for high school students. Together with the International Center of Worcester we provide cultural programming to roughly 80 professor-level Fulbright Visiting Scholars and their families during their academic year.
